Being a member of a popular online writer's forum I've made the acquaintance of a number of inspiring authors. Prominent among those is Jennifer whose occasional shared prose and poetry there caught my attention. Her writing has a simplicity and depth that draws the reader in.
When I became aware she had published a collection of her poetry I eagerly snapped it up. I'm not into poetry that much, other than Frost and a very few others, but her insight and wordsmith skills are a serious reader's delight.
I won't bother you with a list of my favorite poems in the collection, as they vary with mood, and likely with your tastes. I will say though, that for less than a cup of coffee you're likely to find a treasure trove of thought provoking reading for years to come. Personally, I'm eagerly awaiting a collection of narrative poetry she's mentioned working on, as one piece shared on the forum whet my appetite.
One poem, Ode To Winter, from this Magic Of Life collection is featured in the poetry section of this site.
